Air Bagan expands direct flight to Cambodia

Air Bagan which is a private airline of Myanmar is planning to adjoin a direct flight service from Yangon to Siem Reap of Cambodia.

The flight will be launched in October in this year. Now Air Bagan has been flying domestically in twenty destinations.

From 2007 both Cambodia and Myanmar have been running in order to make a route of direct air link and visa exemption because Siem Reap has a tourism market which is much develop for such diversion.

Both of the countries hope that this work plans certainly divert more tourist to Myanmar’s Bagan to Cambodia’s Siem Reap because both of the places are the most attractive tourist destinations of the two countries.

In the basis of tourism cooperation, air services and founding of sister cities among Bagan and Siem Reap, Myanmar and Cambodia Both signed three agreements in October 1996.

Air Bagan, is the first airline in Myanmar which is fully private-invested and it was set up by the Htoo Company. It is the third largest domestic private airline in the state of Myanmar after Yangon and Air Mandalay.

Now Air Bagan has been flying to the various destinations by using two ATR-72 aircrafts, two Fokker F-100 aircraft and two ATR-42 aircrafts.
