Myanmar wants to open a new air link

Myanmar wants to open a direct air link from Myanmar to Dhaka as a part of the mutual relationship between these two countries.

The chief of Army staff of Bangladesh Army who recently visited Myanmar it was disclosed by him. UNB reports that the chief of Army staff General Abdul Mubeen disclosed it when he called the president of Bangladesh M Zillur Rahman.

General Mubeen informed the president that Myanmar has also shown an interest to work jointly with Bangladesh on the subject of road and air connectivity.

General Mubeen said that Myanmar has offered Bangladesh to explore the all natural resource of Bangladesh and use the unused cultivable lands for the food production on a partnership basis.

The Army Chief also told about the Olympic Committee conference as he is the president of Bangladesh Olympic Association. He informed the president that he would to join the conference which will be held on July 14-16 in Tokyo.

The Army Chief will also visit Singapore in the last week of the coming month to attend a Far East region army chief’s conference.

He also apprised the President about the ongoing development activities of Bangladesh Army.
