By this time, the military regime should not view the medics roaming the Myanmar jungle to extend medical assistance, as enemy, since they are doing a charitable job of helping the ethnic groups that the regime has robbed of peaceful existence by reason that they have different political views.

Extreme political views that cause hatred is no longer viable in our society today. Different beliefs can be tolerated as long as people move towards moderation to learn co-existence with different people.

It is genocide that the free world can’t allow which it calls a crime if committed.

If a civilian government rules Myanmar, let it show through the non-violent methods of attaining a peaceful rule and the winning of confidence of the ethnic groups who have been maltreated because of their beliefs.

If the war goes on, both combatants do not stand to gain from it, but if peace were pursued, then let peace initiatives be taken that business activities may be undertaken.

The military rulers should now refrain from attacking the people who want to bring peace to the country but allow them to finish their job of healing the sick and making strong the weak so they could go back to their normal lives.

To live and let live should be the motto in Myanmar to finally put a stop to fighting. The foregoing is sourced from AFP.
