Japan and Myanmar will play a friendly football game

Myanmar will be the host country for the coming 2012 Suzuki Cup qualifying tournament from October 5 -13. In this regard, the National Football Team of Myanmar will exchange friendly competition against the football players of Japan in preparation for this remarkable event as disclosed by the sports circle on Thursday.

This simple idea of friendly matches were influenced both by the President of Japan Football Federation and Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) respectively.

The schedule for the games with Japan’s professional football league known as the “J-League” will start from 18th to the 29th of September, Xinhua news reported.

Aside from Japan and Myanmar, the following lists of participants competing in the 2012 Suzuki Cup qualifying tournament include Timor, Laos, Cambodia and Brunei.

Park Seong-Hwa of South Korea was designated as head coach by the federation. At present he is the trainer of the U-22 squad of Myanmar.

Official members of Myanmar National Football Squad will be formally announced this early August, news report from Xinhua said.
